He Went To Calvary For Me

In the bible I read about the day
that the lamb of God was led away
They took my Lord up that blood-stained road
where one day He washed my sins away
And I thank God for Calvary
for it was there Jesus died for me
He took all my sins upon Himself

When I read it, it smote my heart
