Wide Open

Oh, I used to think God was for old folks and preachers
that didn't have a thing to do with me
thought I was running fast, all that stuff didn't last
Now I can't keep up since Jesus set me free

Wide open, running free indeed
I can do all things though Christ who strengthens me
There's no holding back, all the chains are broken
I'm going with God, wide open!

I was headed down a dead-end street ninety miles an hour
just before I crashed, I saw His light
and my spirit's flying free holding on to God's wings
hanging on for my dear life

Wide open, running free indeed
I can do all things though Christ who strengthens me
There's no holding back, all the chains are broken
I'm going with God, wide open!

Wide open, running free indeed
I can do all things though Christ who strengthens me
There's no holding back, all the chains are broken
I'm going with God, wide open!

Go With God

by Steve Ivey

It's easy to get a little side-tracked
walking on this narrow path I'm on
temptation can be so alluring
just one look away and I'm gone

So I'm gonna go with God everywhere I go
I wanna know His love deep inside my soul
yet choose you this day who you wanna lead your way
as for me, I'm gonna go with God!
Come on!

I tried to be my own person,
handle anything, bring it on!
Anyway, where's God when you need Him?
I found out really quick, I got lost!

So I'm gonna go with God everywhere I go
I wanna know His love deep inside my soul
yet choose you this day who you wanna lead your way
as for me, I'm gonna go with God!
Here we go.

I'm gonna go with God everywhere I go
I wanna know His love deep inside my soul
yet choose you this day who you wanna lead your way
as for me, I'm gonna go with God!

Well now, choose you this day who you wanna lead your way
as for me, I'm gonna go with God!

So I'm gonna go with God everywhere I go
I wanna know His love deep inside my soul
yet choose you this day who you wanna lead your way
as for me, I'm gonna go with God!

Come on!

Crooked Sticks

by Steve Ivey

I've never seen a straight one on the ground or in a tree
But when you stop to think about it, they're a lot like you and me
A little rough around the edges, imperfections, there's a few
With just a little carvin', you got one you could use!

Crooked sticks, crooked sticks
Well, there's never been one that God couldn't straighten up and fix
Aint no one of us born perfect, no, we're all crooked sticks

I've read about Zacchaeus sittin' high up in a tree
How God had a purpose for him far beyond what he could see
Crafty and dishonest, despised by all the town
Jesus took a shameless man, turned his life around!

Crooked sticks, crooked sticks
Well, there's never been one that God couldn't straighten up and fix
Aint no one of us born perfect, no, we're all crooked sticks

Crooked sticks, crooked sticks
Well, there's never been one that God couldn't straighten up and fix
Aint no one of us born perfect, no, we're all crooked sticks
There's never been one that God couldn't straighten up and fix
Aint no one of us born perfect, no, we're all crooked sticks

Believe

Composer: Steve Ivey

Daniel in the lion's den never had a doubt

he knew that God would spare him and shut that lion's mouth!

David stood with his little sling and one round stone

took down the mighty warrior, but he didn't stand alone.

Believe

And you can move a mountain

Believe

And the water will part

Just a seed

Full of faith and hope

Is all you need

Planted deep in your heart

Just believe, just believe!

Zacchaeus was a little man, so he climbed up in a tree,

he knew that God would change his heart, if he could only see

Moses led the people to the waterside,

'cause he knew there'd be a path to walk when they arrived

Believe

And you can move a mountain

Believe

And the water will part

Just a seed

Full of faith and hope

Is all you need

Planted deep in your heart

Just believe, just believe!

Just Believe

And you can move a mountain

Believe

And the water will part

Just a seed

Full of faith and hope

Is all you need

Planted deep in your heart

Just believe, just believe!

Set It Free

lyrics by Cindy Boehler

Set it free, set it free! Lift your heart up, set it free!
There's no hope inside as far as you can see.
When the world is on your shoulders,
put your weight upon your knees.
Cast your cares upon the Lord and set it free!

When you're weary in this world
and troubles drag you to the ground,
darkness swallows you at each and every turn,
you have cleansed your heart with prayer,
still there's no peace to be found,
find the promise of salvation in the Word.

Set it free, set it free! Lift your heart up, set it free!
There's no hope inside as far as you can see.
When the world is on your shoulders,
put your weight upon your knees.
Cast your cares upon the Lord and set it free!

Come to Jesus with your worries,
come to Jesus with your trials,
set your sorrows from your heart into His hand.
God is waiting, He is watching,
He has promised in the bible,
we will all have sweet redemption in His plan

Set it free, set it free! Lift your heart up, set it free!
There's no hope inside as far as you can see.
When the world is on your shoulders,
put your weight upon your knees.
Cast your cares upon the Lord and set it free!

Set it free, set it free! Lift your heart up, set it free!
There's no hope inside as far as you can see.
When the world is on your shoulders,
put your weight upon your knees.
Cast your cares upon the Lord and set it free!

Rest

Rest, the Lord is near
Refuse to fear, enjoy His love
Trust, His mighty power
Fills every hour, of all your days

Chorus:
There is no need
For needless worry
With such a Savior
You have no cause to ever
Doubt, His perfect Word
Still reassures, in any trial

Rest, the Lord is there
Lift up your prayer
For He is strong
Trust, He’ll bring release
And perfect peace, will calm your mind

(Chorus)

Call Him
If you grow frightened
Call Him
With loving care
He’ll lift the burden and you’ll

Rest, the Lord is near
Refuse to fear, enjoy His love
Trust, His might power
Fills every hour, of all your days

Rest, the Lord is near
Refuse to fear, enjoy His love

He'll Give You Peace

sung by Bluegrass Worship Band

When the night air falls
and you close your eyes,
if a war still rages deep inside,
then call to God above
and ask for peace

Where you are
or where you've been,
makes no difference
when you turn to Him,
just call to God above
and ask for peace.

If life has turned into a tangled web
and there's no way out you can see,
there's no need to face it on your own,
just call to God on your knees
and He'll give you peace.

You might have it all or bear a need,
but something's still missing you can't see,
then call to God and ask for peace.

Only God can put you in that quiet place,
even in the storm, you know your way,
just call to God and ask for peace.

If life has turned into a tangled web
and there's no way out you can see,
there's no need to face it on your own,
just call to God on your knees
and He'll give you peace.

Don't Go

lyrics by Steve Ivey

There's a road that's dark and lonesome
and once you're gone, there's no return
There's still forgiveness and redemption,
but there is consequence and hard lessons learned.
Yes, God can pick up the broken pieces
of shattered lives layin' on the ground.
And God will mend them so the pain eases,
but scars will still remain where you've fallen down.

Don't go! Don't go!
Don't go down that long and lonesome road!
Don't go! Don't go!
If you take that road, you're goin' it alone!

Don't go! Don't go!
Don't go down that long and lonesome road!
Don't go! Don't go!
If you take that road, you're goin' it alone!

God is able and He is willing
to overcome where we have failed.
Just call upon the name of Jesus
and you'll see two set of footprints on your trail
'cause He will walk beside you
and lead to pastures that are green,
but even with His healing,
some scars will always be seen.

Don't go! Don't go!
Don't go down that long and lonesome road!
Don't go! Don't go!
If you take that road, you're goin' it alone!

One Piece At A Time

lyrics by Steve Ivey

Where do you go when your dreams are broken,
shattered and scattered, laying on the ground?
Where do you go when all hope seems to have vanished?
There's only one place to turn it around.

God will gather the pieces,
He can see the master design.
Just put your trust in Him,
and He'll build your life again,
one piece at a time.

Life can turn in a moment, your whole world crashing,
crumbled and defeated, you wanna run and hide.
Life can turn back around, it may be a long journey.
There's peace along the way with God at your side

God will gather the pieces,
He can see the master design.
Just put your trust in Him,
and He'll build your life again,
one piece at a time.

one piece at a time.

Think On These Things

Lyrics by the Seminole String Band

Whatsoever things are true, Whatsoever things are honest,
Whatsoever things are just, Whatsoever things are pure,
Whatsoever things are lovely and of good report,
If there be any virtue, any praise, think on these things

Think on these things, if there be any virtue
if they glorify God and lift up my Lord
Think on these things, for they will not hurt you
then through it all, you'll be closer to God

We live in a culture that's carnal and earthly
but we wrestle not against flesh and blood
We're not to think on things that are earthly
But we're told to think on things above

Think on these things, if there be any virtue
if they glorify God and lift up my Lord
Think on these things, for they will not hurt you
then through it all, you'll be closer to God

You're stumbling through life, your thoughts you're not gauging
The things that you think on become those where you trod
and the thoughts of your heart, the battle is raging
Will you please your flesh or will you please God?

Think on these things, if there be any virtue
if they glorify God and lift up my Lord
Think on these things, for they will not hurt you
then through it all, you'll be closer to God

Then through it all, you'll be closer to God
